Sunya® is an educational math game for children at school or in home schooling to learn arithmetic and build their mental math skills. Children have fun making number sentences while trying to be the first to go out of cards.
Players gain math proficiency, confidence in their math ability, and improve their school and home work. Children can also play Sunya® with their parents to continue building math skills at home.
Sunya® is fun for adults as well as children. It is an enjoyable game the whole family can play together. Sunya® has been selected by the Institute for Child Resources (Dr. Toy) as a Best Picks Winner for new Children's Products.
A brand new game, Sunya® is not yet on the market. The first manufacture of Sunya® is planned for August 2010. We will post as soon as Sunya® becomes available.
Sunya (the u pronounced as the "oo" in book) is a word from Sanskrit, the ancient and classical language of India. Our modern day system of numbers, the Hindu-Arabic Numeral System, has its origins in India over 2,000 years ago. Sunya means empty or void.
When a player goes out of cards to win the game he/she says "sunya", conveying the message "my hands are empty of cards" or more simply " I am out of cards."
